AIGAS HOLIDAY COTTAGES
By Beauly

Mains of Aigas is a traditional Highland farm once part of a model sporting estate created during the Victorian era. The Masheter family have owned and operated the 450 acre farm since 1960 and it is currently home to 250 Cheviot and Suffolk-cross ewes.

Aigas Courtyard

The farm courtyard was refurbished in recent years providing an attractive range of self-catering cottages to meet the needs of most clients ranging from three to four star (Scottish Tourist Board rated). There are four courtyard cottages in a peaceful setting with views of the Aigas forest and hills to the East. One cosy cottage nestling in the hillside in a more secluded setting has a commanding view overlooking the farm. All the properties are stone built with slated roofs and have been carefully refurbished and well equipped for family holidays.

Part of the farm was diversified in 1993 to what is now a well-established Golf Course. The first Tee of this nine hole parkland course is a few minutes walk from the cottages and is very popular with Aigas holiday clients.

The family extends a warm welcome to all their holiday clients and encourage them to enjoy the experience of staying on a farm, having a round or two on the golf course and making the most of what the surrounding countryside has to offer.
